The Bio

Georgia native, Lowrey Brown has been performing on the screen and stage for over 10 years.

During this time, he has worked with the likes of Michael Keaton and Danny Strong in Hulu’s Dopesick. Lowrey has also had the honor of working with Ron Howard on Netflix’s Hillbilly Elegy, starring Amy Adams and Glenn Close. He is most recognized from Season 2 of The Gifted on FOX recurring for 4 episodes as Kyle. A malicious leader in the Purifier community, Kyle hunts, captures, and tortures any Mutants that stand in his way. You may have seen Lowrey on AMCs' TURN as Captain Blake playing opposite of Angus Macfayden, CBS' MacGyver as Emil Beck, or VH1's Hindsight as Walt, the glow-stick selling raver. Lowrey has also brought characters to life in Vampire Diaries, Halt and Catch Fire, and executive producer J.J. Abrams Revolution. And has recurred on Tyler Perry's Too Close To Home and If Loving You Is Wrong as Don and David respectively.

Lowrey is also lead a successful stage career in Atlanta. A few of his most notable performances include Bobby in Stephen Sondheim's Company (Actor's Express), Enjolras in Les Misérables (Aurora Theatre), and Mr. Nevins in Edward Foote (Alliance Theatre).
